    Also at like -15 mine will like loap /surge for a min and the white smoke that smells like raw fuel is really bad for like 10 min Cold weather makes these motors do strange things

    White smoke on a cold morning is pretty normal with all my deisels and I got a few and different brands my 86 idi will puke white for a few min untill I gets warmed up but I have some glow plugs issues right now

    @IDIBRONCO I'd spot on the factor gauge on my 86 will pegg solid on the l at like 230 so it helps but it's normal to warm up pulling a long grade also check your radiator for some scale build up or your water pump might be getting ready to shit the bed

    Yeah it's a 03 it's my excursion and it's really not a bad leak maby 2 quarter sized drops after idle ing for 30 min

    So I haven't had a chance to dig in yet but what are the most common places a 6.0 leaks tat causes it to run down the back of the motor it's not a big leak just enough to notice if I park it for a few an let it idle

    M in 86 6.9 I to my 9k camper all summer some trips 30 min some 9 hrs also I pulled a load of pond liner that was about 12 k just for the pond liner and that trip was over 3 hrs round trip but I live where we overload trucks and trailers all the time and hope for the best

    I got 2 block heaters on mine and it's been plugged in for like 3 days because I was going to use it and haven't unplugged I yet also use a good heavy gauge cord because a light gauge cord will heat up and possibly cause a fire

    I go an 03 excursion and it's got 294k miles on it and runs great but maitnence is key on thease motors I have a customer with a 05 and it's a good truck he just dosent maintain it so he Is having issues with it

    Lol next time I get the ole dirty pearl stuck I'm taking pics lol tires help the last timee I got it stuck I buryed it to the mirrors in n snow it took 2 hrs shoveling and chains also cutting a road through the trees to get it out
