    Somebody better buy this truck!

Hahaha what makes them think these things! That is outrageous. I picked mine up for $2,600 and I think it was a great deal for the condition. I still feel that I should find another deal like that one day, but with the way things are now I feel like the days of cheap classic trucks are slipping...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Ordered window weather strip kits in, this winter weather ended up cracking and breaking off a fat chunk on my driver side so now when I’m driving all I hear is a loud whistle from air blowing in. It was driving me nuts so I bought the kit off LMC. Looking forward to the installation, hoping it...

    6.9 diesel won't start, 1984 F-250

You can start the truck with 7/8 glow plugs working. I had 3 or 4 bad and could still get my truck started in Alaska. Do you have a block heater? That could get you up and running until you find the problem. If it’s the controller I would swap over to a manual gp system and bypass the controller...

Clogged fuel return line - rear tank

I saw a guy on YouTube that wrapped a ratchet strap around the tank and through the top of the jack so when he lowered the tank it stayed put. Looked like a cool trick.

    oil recommendations please

I used to run whatever I could get for cheap but now I have access to Renewable Lubricants Biosynthetic oil and it’s definitely noticeable. If I didn’t get an unreasonable deal on it though I’d be back to whatever tractor supply has again.

    fuel system overhaul

I’ve been looking at the 38 gallon rear tank with a sump on classic diesel designs. It’s a kit so should have everything you need for the swap. Come tax season I think that’s who I’ll be buying from.

Damn this one is pretty clean, but I'd say that price is a little too high for me. Kind of reminds me of my truck!

    Leaking water pump

If you ever find yourself in the same situation later on I'll be a second to Flowkooler pumps looking like quality out the box. Mine has only got 300 miles on it so I can't say too much. But I can tell you that the customer service was phenomenal. Plus I got a cool sticker :music:

    Block heater FYI

I bought my block heater off eBay from a very similar setup. Looked OEM, I can’t remember the sellers name now but it’s been going strong for two years now. Hopefully yours runs true!

    Mechanical fuel pump install

Here is a picture that I took when I did mine. I shoved my phone down there in video mode to capture a view of the cam love to make sure it was in the high position.

    6.9 & 7.3 IDI Commandment Lists - IDI Do’s and Don’ts

Please do amigo, after I got stimulated I’m trying to swap over to that 38 gallon rear tank and I’d like put the spare in my bed. I have to travel across the country next year so I’d like to keep my spare in the bed. Does your setup have a locking mechanism?

Under any circumstance, don’t run the N/A? Come on man there’s some nostalgic about driving a big tractor on the highway! When I’m doing 50 up a hill I can safely grab my spitter and change the track on my hank Williams song without worrying I’ve drifted too far
