    I was under the impression going electric and removing the mechanical takes away any chance of getting diesel in the crankcase? Or is that just for people that kept the mechanical in place instead of removing it? Don't mean to hijack CP.

    So I guess the general gist is for the IH applications, 7.3, 6.9, 6.5 etc the roller bearing ones are still the way to go. Is it worth throwing in that bushing ones that have the oil journal in them might be a good "middle ground?" I don't think the international/ford ones have oil...

    Yep I am in the same boat as you guys. Still waiting to see from you all if they are worth keeping, or trying to send back or what? and so these are bushing bearing roller lifters instead of needle bearing roller lifters, but the bushing bearing journal is better then the needle bearing...

    They both were fastened like they should be just the brake line stuck out a small amount and it was right where the filter came in on an angle. I just zip tied it closer to make sure that it prevented it from knocking against the filter.
