Thanks again for hosting Jared. Sorry we took off before saying "till next time". Erica had some conference calls to attend yesterday. Not to beat a dead horse on these rally's but I think Calvin posted earlier as to what they are about. For me, the people is first and foremost. You guys had my...
Not to hijack but it is nice to know I am not the only one to almost rip off the pass visor because she is always putting it down and wondering why we almost get t-boned! I also adjust the rear view arm as high as it goes! too funny. As my daughter says (5" 7" size 10 shoe at 14 years old) "The...
Had the kids this weekend and broke the news of their accommodations for the rally. They are stoked! I'm looking forward to it. Along with the j/y run for Ron's new to him engine! ;Poke
I think moving it is a good idea. Your graph was misleading since you have to take into account ppl are not here through the end of the date listed (ie - not here until 11:59pm on the 8th etc). I am not exactly sure of my arrival time on the 7th. Standard pick up time is 2pm and they are down by...
I ran Isspro for turbo and pyro. You are correct in that the markings on the Banks is better suited for lower boost readability. I clocked my gauges so that the sweet spot reading was 12:00. Made glancing at them easier. As for the fire wall +1 on notching. I used a scissor jack between the...
You only have me between you and him. Is there something I need to be aware of! :dunno
Pending a disaster at Erica's job we have thru the 11th reserved. Need to leave first thing but it gives us Sunday eve. Made that change when I went with the motorhome.
I thought Danielle had the smoker... I have not posted but my situation has changed drastically. That said - yes, we will be there and actually not leaving until Monday now. I will ask Erica for ideas :D and will post our contribution later. I will try to log in tonight and post about my...
Apextrans listed his for 20k here locally. 140K CCLB 4X4. Not sure of all of the mods, but if I had the coin I would not hesitate...mainly because I know him and his equipment.
I am in Westminster, MD now - just south of Hanover / Gettysburg. I have the Grand Cherokee but it has 185K on it, marks it's territory (rear main seal I think) and the AC drain is clogged. I just don't have the time to drop the dash and being a black on black vehicle... I appreciate the offer...
I need to get a move on fixing the pop up. Most parts are here. Plan to tear into it Sunday. Also need to source a tow vehicle! :dunno Not sure Enterprise will guarantee a truck has a hitch. May show up in a 12 pass. van. (Local Lincoln store will guarantee a hitch on that, just don't offer trucks)
Saturday is better for me since I get the kids on Friday eve and return on Sunday eve, but Sunday could work. It is a crap shot with me also since Stephanie seems to plan things and then I get the "Oh, by the way, I know it is your weekend but..."
I know we (Erica and me) will be taking Doug...
As far as the oil burning...I know when I had mine if I filled it full by the stick it would burn off to 3/4 in no time. I think Mel told me to leave it at 3/4 and see if that was it's sweet spot so to speak. It was. Never really had much oil consumption until I dropped the valve years later.
