It is factory, on all of mine, so should be attached. Use a pair of needle nose pliers or hemostats to wiggle it back in there. Not hard to do. You are doing really good at checking out the small stuff there.

If you have to lock up the brakes, the rear will try to pass you on the side.

Part off of York compressor. Either check auto parts store like NAPA or check with a A/C supply big truck supply. Common valve. Has Ford part# on the side. Use your google-fu
on edit: That is a RotoLock fitting. May be able to find at a commercial A/C parts store
