    I would think only if you requested the replacement. TC seal should have been replaced tho.

    Pull all the rod caps off then bump the pistons to clear the crank. Remove the main caps. That crank will probably be too damaged to repair anyway. Hopefully the rod cap nuts were not that loose. You may even have damage to the base of the #8 cylinder casting. Beat the hell outta that rod

    May also just be something simple like a radiator cap. Go back with a 7lb cap. Original is 13lb.

    Easiest way to replace (for me) is to remove bed. 3-4 friends after you have soaked the mounting bolts and nuts under the bed/frame. Kroil if you have it handy or any good 'loose-juice'. Don't forget to unplug lights at rear bumper and disconnect both tank fill hoses from bed (3 screws each...

    Cold and sweating Sounds Good!! At least you are at a point where you have cooling & can watch it. Ideal rpm to check pressures is 1500-2k. Warm weather will be back soon to check your charge. :Thumbs Up

    Use plenty of 'loose juice' before attempting to remove rusted bolts. Carriage bolts. next size larger, should work. Get some silicone grease from amazon and 'lather' the threads. Rubber fuel hose will slip over the nylon lines tightly + use hose clamps

    That's a lot of oil! If it leaks that bad, pull the tranny and replace the seal. 1st Pull that inspection cover & make sure nothing else like valve covers may be leaking & oil pan where it meets block at rear. Crank seal bad will show oil on the flywheel.

    Cracked Cylinder? OK to drive?

    If water in the oil, you don't want to drive it. Will heat up and pressurize more water in the oil & mess up bearings. Hopefully #4 was determined by pulling glow plugs and it pumped water. May be a cracked head. Otherwise may also be an oil cooler leak and didn't want to mess with it anymore.

    Only shows 1 in my '85 Factory Manual but all where serviced at same dealer. Maybe a dealer thing:dunno Manual shows double of same size on throttle return. Just an artist conception tho, not a photo
