i called air dog. the guy told me to get the pressure lower to remove the regulator assembly and cut a coil out of the spring. seems kinda meh but if it works and is free then ill try it.
i just went for a test drive and runs good. the gauge goes between 10 to 12 psi but not sure if it changes while im driving. power is good and it made just about 20 psi of boost so not really sure how my timing might be affected and if that will change my boost.
i got the air dog pump in. works good but it seems with the regulator on it i can only get it down to 12 psi. i cranked the screw out which decreases the pressure and 12 is as low as it goes.
that pressure going to hurt anything? i know it shouldn't be that high.
anyone know if i can change...
i have a camper reserved. i now will most likely have 3 people and the camper lists as a 2 person only so i am trying to figure that out. im either staying in the campground and work around it or move to the cabins ova da riva.
my dates might change also but not sure yet. if anything ill be...
Glad you got everything in a better spot. You can and should be able to still use the adjustable caster/camber bushing. That way you can get the alignment pretty perfect.
i have no way of checking myself but i was thinking that was a possibility. i would have to take them all out and send them to mel or someone. can an injector rattle like that?
i do have 910 springs. its a random thing that i just suddenly started hearing. i just got a 50 psi gauge to accurately see my boost. i have yet to get over 1,000 on the pyro. i max the gauge out so im assuming 20 psi
i started to finally dig into the ticking sound. i did an oil change, drove it and right around the 10 psi area i still hear it. i took the drivers side valve cover off and pulled the valve train out. everything looked good and nothing was loose. didnt notice much side to side on the top of the...
The I beames I cut and welded in braces to drop them. Radius arms stayed the same, just made the brackets longer. The biggest difference is I modified the I beames instead of using drop brackets to lower the center.
what it comes down to is all the geometry is off. different caster/camber adjusters will help but not solve the problem.
i went in my own direction to lift the twin I beam, it works, rides good and tires wear decent. easiest would be to get drop brackets for a TTB.
i will post some pictures of...
i have no batteries in the engine compartment so was kinda thinking in that area. guess ill order one and get started so i can start driving again.
what are y'all using for a block off plate?
what psi you setting them at and mounting locations? i keep seeing others run the low psi pumps and it seems they supply just enough fuel but kinda on the edge.
has any one used or thought of using one on an IDI? i have one on my cummins and works well, has a regulator on it. im having troubles with my machinical lift pump and i could turn this down to 8 or so psi and it should work fine...
went through this on my truck. the adjuster you want is the gold looking moog one. i tried the blocks but its just too much lift for the front end to handle. you can get it close but most likely not going to work.
i did my own 2'' lift.
