what i have seen work is spray fluid film in all the metal over laps, there is also a spray wax. it might be a cleaner option. i know an older fella that bought a 2003 dodge truck new and sprayed oil in all those areas and it is the cleanest dodge i have seen in NE. in my opinion i think...

    19.5 wheel

did you have to use the spacers? were the wheels still hubcentric? i am looking to go with a taller tire anyway and i have the vision wheels in the front in 17'' so it will match for the most part. do you know if they stick out more then a stock wheel does?

    7.3 idi 1993 sclb 300-400hp

yeah you have to spend some money and put some work in to get any kind of power from an IDI. you can do it and it will still be reliable but isn't that easy.

    7.3 idi 1993 sclb 300-400hp

yeah well stock fuel maxed out with a turbo kit might get you to 200 whp. you are better off buying a cummins or PSD.

I would try the high quality bulbs. Maybe pull it out and try some different bulbs while putting power to it.

    Fan clutch upgrade...

oh ok, got ya. so instead of having a spring engage the fan the electric mechanism engages it in a more controlled way.

    Fan clutch upgrade...

that would be a faster way to make one. would be one less machine process with the inside done, just cut and thread the outside. so the 6.4 clutch is just a full lock up? no half way? really dont matter to me, still interested.

    Well well well

i have never owned a 6.0 but i hear they can go good. seems like the heavy work was done. the 5.9 in my dodge service truck with the tuner on #2 out of #5 goes really good and that is what i leave it on. 5 just gets you in trouble. LOL

    Well well well

so it must be tuned, potata chipped, programmed or whatever these new age diesel kids call it? LOL

    Fan clutch upgrade...

yeah they sucked....LOL i liked the idea of them but they just didn't have the airflow needed.

    Fan clutch upgrade...

i did it to mine. it works great but i dont tow every day and thats the only time i need the fan engaged. so most of the time i drive the truck im wasting power turning a fan i dont need.
