good choice with the BW. thats what i got for my dodge to haul my camper. good thing is you can get the companion 5th wheel and it will slip right in that hitch mount you got. its expensive but there was no way in hell i was gonna build something and have stupid rails bolted to the bed.
cummins no doubt. even with the big turbo i got you can stab it at 1500 rpm and it will keep you right in the seat.
i think all v8 diesels make peak torque a little higher in the rpm range.
not sure what you are towing and how heavy, but it seems when you really work a tuned up idi they get hot and you always gotta let off the throttle. at least in my experience.
im not a die hard cummins guy by any means but its the easiest diesel to get and make good power that you can use...
