are you taking this to the rally in case some of us have too many adult beverages and all want a tour of the area? LOL
i dont normally drink much so if you get a tuner on it ill drive. LOL
i have OE fenders on it now but it will take some time to fix with the rot on them, and i dont have much time.
it is hard to find good OE fenders around my area.
the more i think about it im thinking of just buying two new front fenders. that way i can paint them and the core support, rip the old stuff off and just bolt on new stuff.
have y'all had good luck with re-pop fenders?
the replacement fan clutches never work right, from my experience. you can add oil to it and it will help a lot but the downside is it doesn't free spin as much so you always kinda hear it.
haha yeah i have slacking on this a little. i have a truck on my drive on lift now and that is the one my truck needs to be on.
i have been super busy with the money making jobs so the stuff I want to work on gets pushed to the side.
maybe the next update will be a painted core support and...
when i did my head studs i just drilled the same size hole in the freeze plug. not sure how much flow that area sees but it doesn't over heat any more.
yeah Justin is mainly on the FB page. the kit he makes is really close in design to the hypermax kit i have. never dealt with him before but he did build a compound turbo setup that looked pretty good.
i would say a single charger. i feel that it could supply the amount of air needed for what the motor is capable of.
im sure you have seen the setup R&D has. i like it and it looks cool and i appreciate the fab work but the motor is kinda limited on how much power it can handle.
now if you...
there are some very good points made above.
i would not worry about the sway bar in the front, keep one in the rear. none of my trucks have them in the front and i noticed no difference. the only time i feel they are needed is for trucks with tall soft suspension that can have lots of body...
i honestly think if you install an engage-able fan clutch that will help a lot.
mine is locked enough that it will slip on the belt if you rev it quick and i have yet to get it over 210*. i know i dont have an IC up front but i really think that is your best starting point.
here is the rot on the cab mount. it was perfect when i first got the truck but when i was doing some sand blasting it got filled with sand and i never cleaned it out. after four years of being filled with sand and water it gave me the :flipa.
little update. just so y'all can see what i am trying to fix here.
as you saw i have a good core support, i need to get a cab mount and maybe two front fenders. there not totally rotted but might need more work then its worth.
here is the rot on the core support and fenders.
