    they fit pretty well. but yeah i wasn't real happy about having to change the connector. to be honest though the plug the lights come with i think are a little better. they are made of soft rubber instead of the hard plastic that can break over time.

    not much done but some progress.. i got most of the roof cleaned up and installed the cab lights, just some wet sand and buffing and it looks new again. i also put the new reverse lights in, they are decent but could be brighter. also got the LEDs in the gauges so they finally match the banks...

    coolant can leak from the rear of the HG and cause no other issues. same thing happened with my 7.3.

    my engine leaked from the back corner of the HG. it would never drip but only leak when i was on the highway. my rear mud flaps would get wet but it would dry up on the engine before i could track it. i eventually found the stain marks.

    Slow/stuttering power windows

    you can adjust and lube it up. i put motors from a 97 in mine and they are faster and quieter. i believe its a direct bolt in. not saying this as a 100% cause but there are springs that help the window go up, they might be tired.

    yes i am using a trans controller. what is different between the solenoid packs? i know a little on the E4 but not that much. you have any suggestions for good upgrades? the builder is pretty good with them but more knowledge never hurts.

    I did mine with all glow plugs out. Timing makes a big difference.

    This is from one of my threads. results... #1-350 #2-380 #3-360 #4-360 #5-380 #6-360 #7-360 #8-380 that's an average of 366 psi vs the old engine had an average of 317 psi. The more worn out motor. #1-340 #2-320 #3-340 #4-320 #5-300 #6-300 #7-300 #8-320

    Those numbers look pretty good. The 290 and 300 are a little low.
