Permatex Copper Spray.
I've used the copper RTV on a bunch of sealing surfaces on my IDI's (oil pan, oil cooler gaskets, and what not), but never tried the spray. Never used anything on the head gaskets except hylomar. Can't get injection pump out

Yeah. Ordered it 2/6/17 (I think). F450 Lariat. Supposed to take roughly 12 weeks to build and deliver. I wanted to just pick it up at assembly plant, but apparently, that's a no no. LOL Heath.- hesutton

Not really gaining power with the 7.3 over 6.9. I agree with what has been posted above. Open the 7.3 and see what shape it is in. I've changed the return lines on my F250 once in the last 10 years and that was only because I swapped in a new IP and injectors. Wouldn't make since for me (regardless of who sold them). In my experience, not necessary. Heath- hesutton

Make sure you have the surfaces of the tube and headers free of crude/corrosion before you try and put them together. I agree with the engine assembly lube on the new O-rings and on the headers. You want the header to slide/slip onto the tube without needing to beat on it or need a...- hesutton

Return line at fuel filter delete?
I've deleted the fuel return to the filter on my F250. Have keep it on my F350. Not noticed a single change with anything what so ever. No benefit that I've seen. No loss that I've seen either. It's a wash in my experience. I wouldn't push fuel through the mechanical pump with an...- hesutton

Fuel pressure gauge is fine where you had it. I have the senders for my in cab fuel pressure gauges on both my IDI's in the location you chose. Why that location? It is where the factory sender is for the fuel filter light. It is the same pressure in the supply line for the IP. In my...- hesutton

If you're reading fuel pressure after the filter (pressure the IP is seeing), then fuel pressure/supply isn't the problem. Heath- hesutton
