They didn't...AFAIK, Ford never made a crew-cab 4x4 DRW pickup between 1980 and 1997; IIRC the only DRW 4x4's Ford built in that timeframe were chassis-cab trucks with a single cab. No problem at all...I want one, but I'm thinking going new would be a good idea. BTW, if you come across a blue bricknose driver's side kick panel moulding and the insulation piece that goes under it in good shape, I could use that :angel: ...and, again, I'm happy to stock up on any blue...- The Warden

whats your oil pressure at???
For what it's worth, I've had a mechanical oil pressure gauge on my engine the entire time I've had the truck (14 years and 75K miles)...and, hot idle's always been at 10 PSI. Hot oil at cruise RPM is generally between 35 and 40 PSI. As others have said, they're low pressure, high volume...- The Warden

has anyone done a OBS dash conversion in their brick nose?
Dumb question, but you know about the difference on the side "wind-wing" windows, right? Note the slightly different design, with the front end blunted instead of being pointy like the '80-'91 trucks have. If memory serves, Ford had to redesign the window with the corner cut off...- The Warden

value of conversion seats
I bought a front seat assembly out of a Centurion conversion for $300. The fabric's in better shape than yours, but the cushions left much to be desired, and they're not as fancy as yours. Given the pros and cons, my best guess is that these ought to sell for about the same price...maybe a bit...- The Warden

The big round of registration increases applied more to newer vehicles...the vehicle license fee is based on the purchase price. My trucks are both about $275/year, with most of that being in weight fees...and my Jetta was $175 or so, without a weight fee, but the Jetta's also considerably newer...- The Warden

Don't feel too bad; it took me a minute to figure it out myself. I've spent most of my time around 6.9l's, which have the oil fill integrated into the "gear access cover".
