    When you say firewall is this what you are referring to, I am learning more, but not very familiar with the typical problems that people have found over time. Also: Cross shaft linkage being cooked, does this mean definitely a full new clutch kit?

    I did figure it out, the cheap ass fSS bent, I bought a new FSS and replaced it with the old one. Got a new problem now with the clutch not engaging at all lol, made a post about it just now ;( Can’t wait to drive this truck with no/small problems. Working out kinks right now!

    Took off the IP head to double check, tested the FSS before I put it back on and yes indeed it does work.     Replaced my FSS and it still doesn’t want to shut down, it is not running away or rapidly gaining rpm.. just idles, what’s funny is I actually put the new FSS and everything back together and forgot to plug in the FSS and turned it over and it still ran..     I will soak it in ATF for a while and turn her back on and see what happens and report back. Did this to fix the truck from shutting down, haha now doing this to fix it from staying running lol!

    There are two tanks, but one is cruddy and needs to be cleaned realllllyyy nicely or replaced. That’s what the PO said. Only the front tank has been ran since I had it so far (clean tank).

    I have not checked my lift pump pressure, but ai changed the fuel filter again and filled it with Diesel Klean close to a 50/50. When I took the filter off it was pretty full. What’s the pressure on the list pump suppose to be at? 5-7 psi?

    Smoking from the back side of the engine when reved up, problem just arose now. Noticed this, then changed the oil and now with fresh oil it’s smoking back here into the engine bay. Pretty heavy smoke on exhaust when starting also.
