    You could replace the hard line altogether. Got my line from Mel at Conestoga. Nice 3/8 braided stainless line with JIC fittings. No olives. Don't think I have just a shot of the line. I'll look and see if I do. Heath

    Had one get stuck and break off on my 6.9. Used heat and an EZ-out. It came out, but it was out of the truck and on an engine stand. I put crazy heavy dose of copper anti-seize on those bolts when they went back in. Heath

    I've had good success with VR head gaskets and valley pans. Permatex copper RTV is good stuff. Motorcraft front and rear main seals (rear with repair sleeve). Both leak a little, just like every brand main seals I've tried. Heath

    Wonder if the guy ran it without the oil cooler (isn't one on the block in the photos). And, if not.... no oil filter too???? Speaking of oil..... wonder where the oil plumping for the twins came and went on the engine. I'd like to see more detail on the IP gear cover and gear used with that...

    LOL Yeah, blew the boot off and my pipe was eaten alive by the power steering pump pulley. Fourth gear, empty truck, rolling down the road, 1500 to 2500 RPM, if I remember correctly....... may have blown at 2000 or 2200. It's been a while since I made that little vid. Heath

    I'd check a used oil analysis and see what it shows. My guess is you'll have traces of coolant there. From what you described, it certainly sounds like compression gases were making their way into the coolant somewhere. Heath

    Well, I've not seen exactly how much boost it'll make. I'm sure it'll do a lot more than 18-19. but, that's as much pressure as my crumby intercooler boots will hold before they blow off the piping. I should have put a bead on all the pipe ends. Something to give the clamps to hold onto. LOL...

    So the radiator is low, but it's pushing coolant into and filling up the overflow tank? When was the last time have you hauled something heavy? Does (or did) it cause coolant to spit out of the overflow when hauling? How about a used oil analysis? Can tell you if there is coolant in the oil...

    Wipeout Enterprises makes a really nice P-pump PSD. I'd say sleeving an IDI wouldn't be quite as expensive considering you'd have $7K in the IP alone. LOL Heath

    It's been done a couple of times. Last to do it was Eric Sutton. Not been on here for a couple of years. He sleeved his 7.3 to a 6.9, studs, hypermax c-rings. Very interesting build. Not sure what happened to him or his rig. Will look for the old post..... Heath
