I'll throw in a lift pump in the morning doesn't take more than like an hour to do so why not? I can probably warrantee this one and they won't ask me questions anyway lol
Yeah something is defiantly going on it's idling weird, you can heard it almost loping at idle now and it's getting really quiet. Like it's running out of fuel sorta almost misfiring
I'm thinking air intrusion pre lift pump, the harder it sucks The more air maybe? Causing a lack of fuel the higher the rpms? And the bouncing needle, it's a brand new guage installed 2 days ago
I just noticed my truck idling weird actin funny like it's starving for fuel or about to die, looked under hood at fuel pressure guage and t bouncing between 2psi and 7 psi all over the place basically now, failing lift pump cause this maybe? It's only like a year old now. Fuel filter just changed
What if I'm having a problem with air intrusion somewhere like tank selector valve? Or my rear tank being completely dry and unused and use my front tank? Or the rubber line before the lift pump? Or somewhere?
It could almost make sense though it's not really pulling hard in the higher rpms, 2500+ In 4th gear it's slowly climbs beyond that with no smoke. The 90cc isn't supposed to "defuel" till like 3500 I belive
My injection pump is like 10xxx miles on it it shouldn't already be defueling? Or could that be happening? It's a 90cc from r and d I couldn't imagine it already be dying??
So just driving around today I think I'm chasing something that doesn't exist. I'm making 9-11 psi only but I have like no black smoke at wot when turbo spools anywhere above 1500 rpms it's just a light haze. Is this really all my 90cc pump throws out with stage1's? I mean power seems good...
Maybe having the stock exhaust housing is taking away that snap of acceleration needed for it? Idk I was planning on getting the r and d 3 inch set up soon but I'm not sure how much a difference it will mke or not but I won't argue with more turbo sounds lol
@kuskoal our injection pumps at stock trim are nowhere near enough, I have a 90cc and that's not even enough. Even all the stock turbos can eat all the fuel a maxed out pump will supply
I've been curious of these systems too, I heard propane and nos were not supposed to be a great option on our trucks with the compression but light water meth isn't supposed to be so bad. But I don't know any details or too much on how they work
The original more bent one isnt made anymore from what I've heard, the longer flat one is the replacement for it. I have one in my truck right now after replacing my factory more angled one
I just saw the burnout video of the fourth gear burnout and that's on gravel isn't it??? Because I can hit rev limiter in 4th on gravel I drive log truck roads all the time @Thewespaul if it's wet outside I can burnout on corners in 3rd or 4th
Well after the 29 second 0-60 I feel a little better now lol maybe I'll time mine with the phones dyno app, last time I used it it wasn't too far off it told me I had 215 horsepower with a ats 088 and stock injection system with fuel turned up. I wonder what it would tell me now with all the...
Atf in oil before my last change has almost eliminated it amd it's seems to be getting better each day now, it would seem then that my tick was sticking lifter or valve noise.
Temporary purposes eventually I do plan on usuing the wastegate as intended. But my hopes was to get 15 psi boost on my truck I thought I did enough modifications to it by now but apperently not. With 60-1 wheel mod banks dp and 90cc pump with stage1's injectors, 4 inch exhaust and a large air...
I have many options for biofuel blends around me like 10%~99% or however it can be mixed with regular diesel. If this stuff can add power and not Be harmful to my fuel parts I would totally run this stuff. But I don't know enough about it yet. If this thread shows positive stuff I'll try another...
quoted 200$ to have windshield replaced, how much does one cost and should I just let them do it or is it easy enough for me to do it? Mines cracked broken and now coming out I can hear a whistling while driving so it's due. 88 f350 crewcab
