    My 1994 F-350 4x4 CC TD

Thanks guys, does anyone else have experience with an electric pump helping a hot start issue? It seems to me that it would help since it is sending fuel to the IP as soon as the key is turned, possibly helping to cool the IP faster rather than wait for already hot fuel to be delivered from...

    Front End Wander

My truck did the same thing, it was dry/seized up bearing caps on the front axle u-joints. Jack up one side of the front axle, lock the hub and give the tire a sharp spin. When the alignment guy did this I watched the front end jerk.

    My 1994 F-350 4x4 CC TD

I am thinking of finally converting the truck to a Facet/Carter/Duralift/Transicold electric fuel pump. I have read the popular threads but I had a question that has not been answered from the original DIY sticky. Does the installation of an electric fuel pump help an IP that has...

    My 1994 F-350 4x4 CC TD

Thanks for the info. Have you had any issues with noise, dust or the pads eating up the rotors? I agree with keeping the slides clean. One of the pads on the passenger side had begun to wear cockeyed. I wire brushed them out and slathered the slides and pins with copper anti-seize.

    7.3 Dies Returning to Idle

I had a similar issue with the Truck dying and stumbling when the transmission was placed in reverse on a cold start. I dosed the rear tank with 80oz of PS Diesel Kleen and 32oz of 2 stroke oil. I topped off the tank with fuel and drove it normally. My Truck runs pretty well but it has...

    My 1994 F-350 4x4 CC TD

Today I installed a new set of front brake pads along with new slider pins and anti-rattle clips. I used a pair of NAPA Ultra Premium Severe Duty pads. I have not bed the pads in yet but initially they are a bit more aggressive when lightly touching the pedal. Anyone have experience with...

    My 1994 F-350 4x4 CC TD

Sorry...missed your post. I did not try any other offerings, my OEM pump was turned up a few flats so I wanted at a minimum that same amount of fuel. My line of thinking is I would rather have the fuel and not need it opposed to the other way around. I have an intercooler mounted with plans...

    My 1994 F-350 4x4 CC TD

The truck received new skins yesterday. My other tires only had 15k on them but were recalled due to a manufacturing defect. I really, really liked the Toyo HT's. They were quiet, stable and had a great load rating (3750lbs). The HT's are back-ordered with no ETA. I have had my bed destroyed...

    1994 7.3 idi F350 4x4 Steering HELP

Bingo. I had the same symptoms. Jack up the drivers front tire, lock the hub and give the tire a sharp spin. Does the front axle jerk? Repeat for the other side. I tried a gear box, no difference. Swapped out the front u-joints, problem solved.

Block heater causing radiator hose to weep?

Mine does the EXACT same thing. Plug it in cold and a few hours later there is a 3" wet spot from the lower radiator hose seeping. I have a new aluminum radiator, hoses and clamps. It does not do it all summer or after a hard run, only when using the block heater on a cold engine, if I plug...

It was years before the different Moose models. It is the 90cc, equivalent to the Bull Moose...I think.

    Brick nose group 31 question

I don't have any experience with the G31's but that looks like a solid battery. I use the MTP-65's and they have done well. I wouldn't miss an opportunity to upgrade. What about ghetto rigging them into place with a couple ratchet straps then after the trip you could source/build a proper...

    torque screw vs fuel screw..

Regardless of the torque screw there is some good information to FAQ's in these pages. These are from the old days when ATS was in UT and still gave a damn.

Babe the Blue Ox: progress thread

Great looking crew cab. I'd love to see a shot of the Alcoa's polished up and a shot from the side.

Stanadyne Fuel Minder 100 Fuel Filter

It is probably coincidence, but I just purchased the last available half gallon of Stanadyne Performance formula from our local NAPA. They said that they would no longer be carrying it, nor could they order it...bummer. The price was awesome, $18 for 64oz.

    bad starter?

Is the starter original? Assuming all the connections are good and the batteries are charged, the starter is probably on it's way out. My OEM starter died in March, it was easy to diagnose as it had been getting slower and slower and finally stopped turning altogether. NAPA or DB...

E4OD revs in drive, unless overdrive is turned off

Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions for you but it is great reading about someone troubleshooting their issue and not simply wanting to be spoon fed the answer. Good luck!

    My 1994 F-350 4x4 CC TD

I took a coolant sample today to see it's condition before heading into winter. The coolant is healthy and the pH remains unchanged, this is what I have been most concerned about since adding the aluminum radiator. I am using regular NAPA low silicate green coolant with the FW-16/VC8 Ford...

    Timing question for high altitude

Today I plugged the wastegate and backed out when I saw 18psi...guess the turbo is still healthy. The exhaust is heavier plumes of gray but not as black. At idle it reeks and stings the eyes...definitely not a complete burn. Maybe we'll try 9.5*. At the retarded settings when cruising it...
