    Shoot, I only have a shortbox crew, but with those leafs up front i've done some 5 or more point turns. The '05+ have the coils and turn as good as a F-150. Still, I like the bronco the best, Uturn in 2.5lanes. Adrianspeeder

    Ya want the tranny up to operating temp as quick as possible for non sluggish firm shifts. Bout 140 is a good temp and in the winter a good stacked plate cooler can bring the fluid temp below that and the rad exchanger can hold the temps in check.     '87-'91s have a speed sensor in the rear axle that is only used for the ABS, and use a cable driven speedo/odo from the transfer case or tranny tailshaft. '92-'96 trucks use the same rear speed sensor for ABS, but also does the cruse, speedo, odo, and E4OD shift strategy. Adrianspeeder

    Wow, the BW 1356 is usually a tough unit, and ya can usually rebuild one fer under 100bucks. The NP205 is the older gear drive unit that will bolt to your E4OD, but need to make a notch on the output housing to clear the shifter stuff. I don't remember if the lowrange isn't as good either...
