cdr delete question....
I did search this but got no answer.. so.. Back story, 86" 6.9. bought a used turbo system, 093.. have everything but the valve covers... so no cdr on the engine.. the oil fill tube ( bolted to the injection gear cover} is a 1/4 twist on , i know i need a vent for crank case pressure.. 6.9 low power/no power.... need help
History on this truck, 1986 f350, (f250) badges. bought for a D.D. as my 93 350 7.3 has been retired.. so, the new truck , i have some paperwork with it, bought new by the ING corp, in Colardo, then in 2021 was in maine and registered with 245k on it.. i have done,,, used c6 trans (works good)...- nhwrench01

oil filters on ebay,,,get them cheap

86, block heater question ,,
I was looking for first hand experience with people who use there block heater on their 6.9. my vin tag shows a build date of 12/85. just bought a 1986 f250hd, 6.9 c6,208f t case, , my "old" 93f250.7.3 auto, straight axle swap, has died, brought it back a few times from rust, but now, it's too much, rust, trans, problems, electric,bla,bla,, So... my new f250hd has a dana 60, king pin front axle, looks stock, nothing looks...- nhwrench01

e4od trans dipstick help.
so, after installing a stock turbo setup from wes, with a kit from russ. ( great guys, just want to give them more praise...) I need a new trans dip stick and tube,, I found the tube. but cant find a dipstick. I do have the old dipstick from the n/a. from what I found the turbo dipstick length...- nhwrench01

running wtf ( or waste transmission fluid.)
so, here is my story. I've been running on waste oil for some time now(only in the summer, as I'm having "flow" problems in the winter). I started with waste motor oil. filtered , did the ;let it set for months; then filter it and run it when the truck was hot, start and stop on clean diesel...- nhwrench01
