    That sounds like a good way to cut your o-ring seals. If those headers are not perfectly lined up, the metal lips on the cooler and inner header will clash and cut up the seal. A pry bar would need to be compressed perfectly, and I'd be impressed with the man that could do it regularly.

    Maybe I'm a bit spoiled out here in Socal. Regardless, I wouldn't pay more than $2200 for that truck. I see rust free IDI's out here California all the time on Craigslist for less. And the engines are clean too.

    I've used Car-part.com too. It's nice and simple. I got my Gearvendor OD with the tailshaft housing and electronics with shipping for $250. You just have to be a bit computer savvy on that website to navigate the hordes of results.

    Yeah, that $5500-IDI seller is out of his mind. Don't use that as an example of typical worth. It's only worth what people are willing to pay for it. He's not going to get over $3000 for that truck, lucky if he exceeds $2000.

    Do you have a reliable fuel pressure gauge? If yes, then what pressure are you getting at idle and what pressure is it getting down to at WOT? @Thewespaul is right. Sounds like a filter issue. That duralift e-pump should be pushing plenty of fuel to your IP.
