As soon as my wife gets back with my u joints I'll try to upload a few videos at the track. Couple of nice pulls by thewespaul and a few other pulls and one in particular that the video quality wasn't so great(wife freaked out and lowered the camera) of a poor guy that could use some new undies...
My wife works for O'Reilly's and will tell you not to buy their lift pumps. My cousin at AutoZone will tell you the same for his stores. Gasser or diesel. Cheaply made and the warranty on those are junk as well. I hate to say this, but if you do not wish to go to an e pump you may want to go to...
Lol. I cheat. Re use the old o rings above the new caps. Still put on the new o rings on the injectors and new caps, but I toss one of the old o rings on top of plastic cap before threading the injector line back on. Seems to work for me.
The doner is a 1990. My front and rear lug pattern already doesn't match. Not at all worried about that. Using wat I have available as well. So the fronts from regular pu and the cab and chassis are the same in this bricknose era? I will check out randys ring and pinion and see what they have...
Just ran across a sweet deal on a solid front axle. Everything I need is there to swap over to my 91 f250 7.3 IDI 2wd from a 1990 f350 cc dually 7.3 idi. Here's the deal, I have swapped the 10.25 my truck came stock with for a 2001 srw with the 3.73s. the front end I will be getting has 4.10s in...
Either way, he just wants something different. He isn't going to be winning any races with this truck, doubt he's really even going to be hauling. I still think a turbo would do everything he wants to do and more, but it isn't my truck. Just a project I am going to have to do. But I'm wondering...
And I needs that solid front end and all the accuterments should my measuring tape say it fits...... Trading him a zf5 and a good 2wd front end for that. Throwing in a new luk smf kit to try and sweeten the deal. But all that has to come out my daily driver! Lol. But just as the other two are...
Well gents, I can usually find a good deal. But not like my buddy did...... Lemme show u wat he wants me to fix instead and use other truck for parts. Sob picked this up for.......... Pause for effect....... 150. And then had me load it and drag it home
Not very different at all in the trucks in my yard, well the ones I dropped out of them and scrapped. The 85 the 89 both 91s and the 94 all seem pretty much the same. But I have fitted the bronco 33 gal tank and pickups in all of mine and bypassed the fsv as all of them have junked on me shortly...
I need to look at someone else's pics so I can get my head wrapped around how to come up with this. Lol. May have to surf fir a bit on here and troll Fe to find a thread on this one.
Can't wait.... -cuss-Flame Thr
I will attest to this tried that once and lost a wheel doing about 55 and was lucky to only have that arm bent, and some new underware.... And of course some new lugs and nuts
Had a similar issue with my turbo at one point. Turned out to be a clogged air filter which was a simple fix, but I would still have wes hook you up with a good rebuild/upgrade. Another thing you could check is your intake hat. Insure it has no cracks and even check the seal under it. My current...
