    Windshield sealant

Something else that would probably work really well as a tape is a building/roofing material. Grace Vycor. Cut into appropriate width pieces. https://www.amazon.com/GRACE-TV718306-6-x75Vycor-Flashing/dp/B006LDTGM8/ There's a bonus. What's left can be applied to the insides of your door...

    Complete electrical failure

Wait. You took the grounds off the batteries, and it would still turn over?

RABS valve bypass. A completely different take.

It's 1/2 - 20 inverted flare, to 3/8 -24 inverted flare. If you can find the right fitting, that's great. I built a bypass out of several fittings that accomplished the same thing. I also went and had a short flexible brake hose made with those two fitting sizes. It's not that difficult to...

Possible air intrusion when parked uphill?

You have air getting in, somewhere. It's probably not big enough to leak fuel, but it is letting air in. Then your entire system is leaking down, back into the tank. From both the supply and return lines. If you park nose downhill, the lines stay full, because as I said, the leak is not big...

Fuel pump not running after running out of fuel

Yep. No in tank fuel pump with a diesel. If your tank is full, but your electric inline fuel pump is drawing no fuel then you have a blockage issue. The pickup in the tank is blocked. Or the lines are blocked somewhere. Or the fuel selector valve is not working.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Changed the 80-90 weight in the front diff, today. I want to thank AGAIN, whomever recommended the air powered brake cleaner for getting the old fluid out. This is the one I bought. https://www.amazon.com/Titan-51885-1-Liter-Vacuum-Bleeder/dp/B016YW6XL2/ Gotta say, it kind of sucks as a...

    Windshield sealant

Mine didn't look to be sealed any better. Huge gaps everywhere. And I swear it seemed like it must go right through in the areas you mention. Proof enough for me, came when the next day, I opened the truck, and the smell of the lexell was STRONG inside the truck! Like I had installed the...

    Headlight focus

Well guys it looks like I doofused out! It was my own fault. I should have paid better attention when I took it apart the first time. Or I should have looked for pictures to make sure I got it right, when I was trying to get those bulbs into the housing. I replaced all the clips. Took the...

Buying 85 IDI ATS turbo motorhome!

I think the kind you used would work if you would put it on upside down from the way it was, and tighten it barely snug, but not tight. Use nylock nuts, to keep the nuts from loosening up. If you put it on like that, right where this one is, the remnant of the old plate will keep it from...

    Headlight focus

Also: The lights work by having either the bright or the dim filaments on. Never both at the same time. I considered making up a circuit that would make both filaments come on when on high, and only the dim filament when on dim. Even drew out the circuit and bought a diode and extra relay, to...

    Headlight focus

All good points. Thank you for the feedback and ideas!!! Thinking about these comments, I wondered if I had the bulbs in incorrectly. So I looked around for some pictures. In the chilton's manual. In a few posts on this forum and others. And in some youtube videos... I found... Yup. Bulbs are...

    Windshield sealant

Well, I didn't get a pic of it with just the sealant in place. It was raggedy looking anyway. Just trust me that I got the gap completely cleaned out, and got the sealant completely down into the gaps, and sealed to both the steel, and the glass. I put the gorilla tape on because I don't like...

    FUEL FILTER

Exactly what I was thinking the most likely cause of the OP's problem was. And yeah, I'd probably have the same attitude. I eliminated the showerhead on my front tank, while I had it apart. Hung a piece of vinyl tubing, with a brass tee on the end, in it's place. Adjusted the length perfectly...

    Headlight focus

A while back, I put new headlight housings in my truck. I am positive I did everything right. Got some of the brightest "normal" headlight bulbs and installed them. Also switched the headlights from running directly off the switch, to running off of relays, that are switched by the switch...

    Windshield sealant

Well, I decided to use Lexel. 10 bucks and done. I'll let it cure a while, then I'll apply gorilla tape. I just like the looks of the tape. Probably going to toss the trim.

Poor throttle response after replacing return lines

Yup. Here is a good vid to show how to actually fix the valve, instead of replacing it:

Poor throttle response after replacing return lines

I would think so, yes. But you'd have diesel fuel running down the back of the engine. :) I take it you have done that? LOL And have you blown through the first hose, after removing that back line? (To check out the new fittings and lines, separate from the rest of the system.) If this...

Poor throttle response after replacing return lines

And by the way. Even if the lines are good, If I had gone to this much trouble myself, I would replace at least that line coming down from the engine to the valve, with a new line.

Poor throttle response after replacing return lines

Excellent! Not that you have a problem. But that you found the problem. LOL I will assume that you then blew into the first hose again, after removing the back line... To find out if there might also be a problem with the fittings and lines before that. Just in case. Now, to get further down...

    Windshield sealant

Here is one of his tape videos. If I add my own experiences to this video... Gorilla tape went on in cold wet conditions. Sealed well. Stayed sealed for over 2 years. It DID leave quite a bit of residue after all that weathering, but it weathered well. Looked like new, when I peeled it off...

"Tank" my 91 Crew Cab Dually

I bought a new MC filler cap with seal. A one gallon garden sprayer. Some line, and a couple fittings. Going to make a pressure bleeder system. Put a fitting in the old cap and seal. Run line from that to the garden sprayer. At the sprayer I will either drill a hole in the bottom of the jug...

Poor throttle response after replacing return lines

There's your problem. You need to figure out where the blockage is. Now pull off the line that runs down behind the engine, and try to blow through that one. Put an extension on it if you have to. Don't be tempted to just blow through it with the compressor. But wait. Before you do that...

    Should I replace alternator bearings?

Being a 94, I would assume it is a 3g. I would take it apart and inspect the windings, etc, before even buying the bearings. But yeah, if it is all good to go, I'd replace the bearings and keep it as a backup.
