New To WMO. Many questions. Any thoughts?

Filtering & heat!!! Warming it up helps as much as anything! I try to settle my WMO, then sometimes hang up some “fat boy” jeans, tie the legs, let it strain thru, then settle some more. I used to run very rich, specially in summer, but not bout 30% in summer, less winter. Also have heat plate...

    Lift pump mechanical or electrical?

I have been running Holly Red & Holly Blue without a regulator for yrs on my '92 NA & my '90 Turbo 088. Few times in past when I've run up on a decent deal I've considered a Holly Black, but passed cause I figured I'd have to regulate it.....something else to have to mess with. Long time ago...

That #$%^ serpentine belt chirp again!

Few months ago mine was chirping/squealing off & on & I was using the bar soap trick. Turned out I had a bad IDLER PULLY. When I down shifted things let go. Threw the fan belt, spun my fan clutch off (cause I'd stupidly used anti-seize) and fan got into the radiator. Had to pull radiator &...

That #$%^ serpentine belt chirp again!

I have used a bar of soap on the belt while running and quietens down. Old mechanic showed me that trick. If something else going on & noise/squeaking keeps coming back then look other things over. BTW before you use soap call yo insurance lady & insure your fingers one at a time..... that way...

another ZF5 roll over thread.... with excessive roll over noise.

Well I remember from my semi trucking days the alignment shop would "wedge" the steer axle to give it few * of positive caster, if level or neg then it wouldn't hold the road as well. (Visualize leaning forward over the steering wheel driving, or walking all leaned forward trying to walk...

another ZF5 roll over thread.... with excessive roll over noise.

'90 LBCC Dually. Several yr ago I got tired of crawling underneath with my fat belly so I did 4" Frame & 4" Body lift. About 3-4 yr ago I put D60 under front, BG 1356 transfer. Had it aligned & luckily was spot on. Had rear drive shaft shortened, front driveshaft fabed that I used from the...
