    The 2nd week of November I put a brand new vacuum pump on my truck. It's a Standard Motor Products VCP105. Well it's just started blowing oil all over the place. I'm expecting I'll just warranty it but before I do was curious, as I haven't opened one up, would it just be a torn diaphragm?

    My .02. Talk to Hastings, see what their specs are before divulging your measurements and if their not in spec send them back. If they are in their spec run them. The consistency between them seems pretty good so it doesn't seem to be a manufacturing defect.

    This too. 2 months ago my torque converter was slipping at highway speeds. Checked the wiring pigtail to the solenoid valves and it was wet. Used electrical cleaner on the connections, let borh sides dry, plugged it back in and no issues since.

    Different years had different size tanks. My 93' has a 22 gallon front tank. Shower head is broke off and I run out at 1/4 tank. If I fill up close to 1/4 tank it takes around 17 gallons.

    I just had that open the other day. It's just a reservoir. You're fine to bypass it and use a different reservoir for your vacuum setup.

    Just a thought. If you're concerned about the height of the truck with a D60 under the front, My F350 4x4 hasn't been too tall for towing anything I've ever hooked up to. Including gooseneck stuff. If getting in is a concern just get some steps. Wait you might have running boards now? Hmm.

    Clutch friction plates are not symmetrical. They are raised on the side facing the transmission. Never seen one put in backwards.
