I want you to know that I have the clasp from a broken clipboard saved for a future project and I will shamelessly copy your idea... Because it is a durn good one... Have you checked the underside of your right arm lately..? The wood has some kind of ...uh...natural stain look going on, there...

    Charging question

Lordy...if they are both the same thing or comparable quality then I would chance a few bucks and try one out... I should have gotten the name of the manufacturer of the big one I used to use...have not found it...but it would have been great if you use it frequently... You sure seem talented...

Anyone done a large aux c6 trans cooler?

Looks like some insects decided to do a close-up inspection and body-slam test of your cooler.... I hope @Can't Write doesn't see that...he'll have a conniption... Looks pretty good to me...similar to the ones I used... Lots of good advice...

    Charging question

When I worked at an equipment dealer we fabbed them up pretty often... If you take your cables to a good-sized tractor dealer they might hook you up...no pun intended...

Anyone done a large aux c6 trans cooler?

That is how I usually would set up coolers when I had a shop... Two Derale-style coolers in front of the radiator or AC condensor...they needed to be close enough so the fan will pull air through them at low speed and not have anything substancial in front of them so the air won't be blocked at...

    Project Stress Test

Have you thought about having a 'Brand' symbol.? You know....some kind of spiffy 'Hacked89' brand recognition trademarked logo..? With all of the nifty stuff you do...it just seems fitting to have some kind of unique symbol that will become a household brand... Just a thought...

    Project Stress Test

Can I ask where you got the headers..? Look pretty zoomie... If I ever have a shop with enough room I am going to get a pipe bender... I would love to fab up custom exhaust like that... Gotta say...that engine looks pretty darn cool.... All it needs is an IP gear cover 'smiley face'...

Trailered home a 1989 F350 dump truck that looks great on the outside, but the 7.3 IDI is something else

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/umi-01055 Since you are familiar with the Summit website...something like this will keep your shop floor cleaner when you go to re-assemble the engine... I have a similar one and it is much appreciated....I plan on building an engine once I set up a building...

Burning up fuel shut off solenoids.

Ya gotta see Robert Duvall about that...he lives on a horse farm in Northern Virginia and claims to have distant ancestry with the Lee Family... Upgrade from oil burner to oil dumper...

Sage advice... I am going to remember that and pass it on to The Girl when it is appropriate. Thanks...!! Edit...The Girl reminded me not to forget goats....they seem to be escape artists and don't listen too good.... And...I can mention that bees are good at sealing up what you have...

So what did you do with your truck today?

You are very welcome...'preciate the feedback... Check the spool to make sure it fits your (Urban Assault Vehicle) 9 3/8 axles... the drag car could have had aftermarket axles with a different spline count. I would bet that the 'big bearing' part is where your brakes bolt up...being a big car...

So what did you do with your truck today?

From what I have seen there are at least two areas on a Ford 9 inch that have different bearings... Carrier bearings...I have seen at least three sizes...the biggest ones were to allow 31 spline axles to pass through and the smaller ones were for 28 spline axles. On most older housings...metal...

    Valve Stem Seals

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/technical-stuff/188332-explained-why-diesel-engines-need-throttle-body-throttle-plate.html Your post is very well written and explains the basic differences on older engines in a way that would give a student a good picture of the basics... But...what you are...

    Valve Stem Seals

GUYS...how does the air get into the cylinders...?? Every time an intake valve is open and an exhaust valve is closed and the piston retreats from the head surface the engine is pulling a vacuum... It is just not as pronounced as a vacuum would be in a healthy gas engine that has a throttle...

    Who's smarter?

    Knight of the Phoenix

If you are sure that info you have is for the unit you have...(that the unit is truly a '90 and up but not an 'E'..) I would not leave out any check balls unless you want to have to R-n-R the valvebody again after the first time...the only one that I see that could be left out in the past...

    What is this bracket for?

Good Golly Miss Molly...!!! I gotta find a place to weigh mine...just to know... I have been trying to put it on a weight-off program...but subtracting things is hard to do if you want to be prepared for most eventualities... I do know that I had a hard time lifting it up from the center of...
