Thought about trying to run a yellow light on a right turn but decided last minute to stop after seeing some cameras… ended locking up the rear wheels of the truck for the first time ever! Still can’t make a u turn without cussing but at least can stop on a dime.
Just spit balling here but Is it possible to drill out a hole in the bracket to allow the rivet to fit within? It may not make a difference either way as there are other concerns and just how you want to skin a cat etc etc

Have had some issues with extended cranking during cold starts last 6 months or so. Similar to @HammerDown engine will fire off for a couple seconds then die and require extended cranking to start back - then is good. This happens with either tank selected but seems to only occur when parked...
mint looking bullnose. If it might be IP related perhaps do low hanging items first like atf/diesel kleen in the fuel filter overnight. might serve as cheap diagnostics but not sure the failure modes of the Pensacola pumps
