Ats 093 rebuild
I need to rebuild the center section of the turbo on the 93. The spool has lateral movement ( side2side) I see kits with " drop in" and then modified housing rebuilds. School me on what I want for towing 100% of the time. What Do I want for low end grunt and pulling hills? I see wicked wheels...- Clb

Original early copper brass radiators vs aluminum
For those who are searching for this, when my v series in my sig line puked the oem rad only thing available was the plastic tank stuff. I installed 1 each year for 3 years before I had the copper and brass rebuilt. It's still fighting the good fight.- Clb

Ummmm Bondo IS NOT the sealing agent in question here... There would " normally " be a very good weldment joining the 2 bodies, then body seam sealer, then bondo. Those hackfab guys probably didn't use seam seal. If you're interested in a stopgap fix just for shipping, then perhaps there...- Clb

Original early copper brass radiators vs aluminum
This is a story for the ages... There's a metric +×÷= tonne of radiator threads here. Due mostly to the cheap Chinese flood of junk. There seems to be 1 decent one. Fwiw Red devil drain cleaner is still available in California...... I redid my oem unit rather than deal with it ( tin replacement).- Clb

There's a tech 101 thread somewhere on here. I'm going to bump stuff 4 ya later. Hit the stickies for some light reading. Off the top of my head.... Unburnt fuel = white smoke, injectors, wet stacking, you said it's not coolant so... Timing could cause some smoke, but just get it set with a...- Clb

1 thing to keep in mind, when using these Run the engine so the alternator is feeding them. When my redtop started to go ( that's a whole new thread) I could hear the difference in the pumps output from idle to off.- Clb

Hopefully it is a direct duplicate of the arm design inside of the new pump.:dunno As long as the part from the idi arms pivot pin to inside the new pump matches the pump and original arm, in all dimensions AND the part from mounting flange inside the eng. Matches the idi internally. That...- Clb

That's a Screamin deal. ^^^;Sweet Used continuously over duty cycle will kill them. Mine is continuous duty rated so I can do multiple rigs. Guess I should time mine . For you guys that are going to be making the 4x inflator, get the air chucks that push/pull lock in place AND stop flowing when...- Clb

Underdrive . Essentially "doubles " the input revolutions. Effectively halving the number of rpm's of the tires. Do homework, decide if you "need" one. They are pricey but...- Clb

No more than anything else. IF I recall, there are test strips foe that. But it's probably a bigger story than an issue. Fwiw A rebuild with new sleeves and a good machinist will cure it.- Clb
