Fwiw Idiot dialed me into this. The enclosed tensioner is what you want, as it's just more stable, bit you have to change to that style accessorie bracket.- Clb

Got a strange problem with my starter
Fwiw 1 Laod test those new batteries irregardless of what napa says. 1 dead cell and viola.... 2 Clean and nolox the connections both ground and hot. 3 resistance test the battery cables off the rig. 4 check starter relay. Good luck GeeLectricity sux sometimes- Clb

I dunno, but there's a reason why you can order pushrods by length, I will throw it out there for context. I got a reman 350 mouse thru a connected buddy from Kragen auto. It was a longblock, the pushrods and rockers were used..... I called the remanufacturer on the invoice, the hillbillies...- Clb

Since (insert banned word for corporate here) everything is different. Finding anything that is built to last is tough. That guy quoted above is on the right track. If my red dies I'm gonna reinstall the oem mechanical pump. I am sad that there wasn't enough testing for the fawcet pump way...- Clb

Ok you feed your close to $1500 i.p. and injectors with a used oil filter. You do you bro. I'm good. Just figure I'm the uneducated person who is not taking your advice. Yea a $1000 truck will allways eat raw fuel, anything you feed it. Yes you can slave lake an idi. Yes you're right. Sorry...- Clb

Just reread post #1 I am going to deferr to the wmo/alternate fuel guys on filtration. But again My .02 is this.... #2 diesel is ALOT thinner than diesel engine oil. Whats a better solvent? Diesel or 50 wt oil? Do you use motor oil to wash parts? No ? Gas right? Ok solvent, but not heavy oil. So...- Clb
