    spent yesterday building supports, and getting my cuts dialed in to put a front panel on the bed out of 14 ga need to put some 90* breaks in the 14 ga to stiffen it up before i get to welding. thats on the list for today

    welp, i deleted the idea of removeable bedsides. im going to be exo caging this thing soon, so a separate bed was called for. got some more reinforcing to do tomorrow, but its mounted. now to decide what to do with the floor.

    i didnt read all the posts, but if your truck is warm, you dont need the glow plugs. i actually wire mine to the engine temp switch, so above 135*, the plugs do not glow. the next time youre experiencing this condition, pour cool water on your injection pump. if it fires right up, you need a new IP

    someone has been through that engine before., the factory does not number the rods. i found a set of rods through facebook, and sent them out to get reconditioned.

    retarded timing will cause white smoke. you need to adjust FUEL timing. it will run -10 ATDC and 16 BTDC. ask me how i know. lol get that meter on it.

    who built the pump? there is only 2 sources i would ever buy a pump from now a days. what did the meter say when you timed it?

    id be throwing that entire engine in the scrap pile. i doubt the rod is any good. maybe the crank and all the accessories. im about to venture into a build too, i have everything but the time
