So I had a small set back. For some reason the water pump that was good when I did the engine tear down, clearly didn't appreciate the clean up and fresh paint. It never passed pressure check( technically vacuum test) So installed a new one. Fill the system using this gagetIt uses compressed air...
See, now these are things that I don't remember to think about. Most because, even though I can manage to do a lot of things, that Eelektrisical is like VooDoo magic to my poor brain
Thank you! I truly do appreciate you saying that. I tried to plan everything out well when I got started in earnest planning on rehabbing this ol' boy. I am pretty proud of how it is turning out. Hopefully it runs :)
So I have all the guts back in the ol' boy and all the wiring. Been a long road, just about a year ago I started disassembling it and had the Dana 50 rebuilt, the transmission and xfer case rebuilt. The motor I had machined added new heads and I rebuilt it with all new internals minus crank and...
Here is a pic of where the factory oil feed comes from. With the braided line and I added and AN fitting and have an oil pressure sending unit in there
Complete performance offers this, I think you can by just the plug mount by itself without the charger

It is actually already premade with the two pigtails. the body of it is all one molded piece with the plug to the outlet being a second piece that is also the gasket backing it. I have went back and forth about where to put it. didnt really want to cut a hole there, could have used the bumper...
I see what ya did there :rotflmao. In my younger day it would have been a Guinness Idea , but then I wouldn't have been able to remember it. (Actually, it would not have been Guinness but most like likely a stout Rye Wiskey)
Just hasn't been my experience so far :dunno I still check them for pricing when ever I have big ticket items or larger orders. If they ever end up being cheaper for what I need I would use them
Kinda is. I have one of these going under the hood to keep the batteries happy So when I plug in the cord it charges and the block heater is on too or I can unplug the heater for summer the other side of the plug on the fender
I don't know if RA was ever more affordable. I have put together several project lists on there but shipping cost always seem to destroy any benefit of product cost savings. I already have Prime so my shipping costs are zero from there, so long as I can find the parts brand I am wanting. I like...
It is Ford's Medium Lapis Blue Metallic. I really like the color. This was my old neighbor's kids truck that he kind of just drove the crap out of and wore out. I bought it for 3k about 10 years ago because I liked the color and I needed a cheap truck. That opened up the whole IDI- wholly crud...
I don't think you did. They look like they are made pretty much the same way. Probably at the same place lol. At that price they are cheaper than Sulvania silverstar halogens
I put in an order for that Tiny tach 4300 set about a month ago. Still waiting on it. I called and talked to them, seemed like they were trying to get some new "boards" ready to go. Made it seem like I should have it by now but no. They were going to call this week too but, no dice
Rebuilt the power steering pump. It's the original ford one so I didn't want to lose it word of caution. Beware of what they named the springs and slippers. That's what is in the green dish.
All cleaned up and sealed up and ready to go back in
Here is my favorite tool for thisthis attaches to an air compressor and creates vacuum in the catch canthe bottle on the master cylinder keeps it filled. Great for bleeding brakes solo
