How much air does that fan move? It sure looks small in there. Have you put it to the test yet? I really like the look of the shroud! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Benefits Of A Electronic Fuel Pump?

I had a mechanical pump fail on me in my first truck. Filled the crankcase with fuel. It was within a month of owning it and I didn't know much about the truck, so I was checking oil level every couple days to see how much she used. Imagine my surprise when one day it was suddenly overfilled...

    EPA & VW

New ones. They purposely wrote in the software so the engine would run cleaner when it detected it was being smogged. Then when it was over it would switch back and run "dirty" again. Heard they are looking at a $40,000 fine per vehicle and there are somewhere around 500,000 vehicles. Sent...

    Leveling kit help or ideas

what laserjock said. Also as silly as it sounds the F250 springs are a little stiffer because of the way the TTB works. so swapping to the correct springs will help with ride quality too.

    99 d60 questions..

where do you get these '05 axles for under $500? I would love to swap that in on mine, but everything around here runs in the $1000 range and that is needing a rebuild and missing brackets and things.

Any advice or tips on mechanical lift pump install? im all ears/eye's

I put one in a little while ago. I didn't do anything with the cam lobe. Whatever position it was in is the way it was when i put the pump in. I figured it really didn't make that much of a difference as long as i got the arm under it. That was 400+ miles ago, still working:dunno as for a...

93 7.3 idi rides like crap

well I am not exactly sure what the problem is because as homelessduck pointed out you have used two completely opposite terms to describe the ride. but if it is floating all over the place It may have to do with using gasser springs. I dont think they are stiff enough to handle the weight of...

Duralift pump failure...? Its the ooze..

I just bought one from that same website. Literally showed up yesterday. I bought 40223, the only difference from 40222 is that it comes with the connecter on the wires, which makes for a nice quick disconnect if you ever need it. I have not put it on yet, but it looks exactly like the one I...

Anyone got a good source for new D50 leaf springs?

So you got an '05 or up front axle for $255  was that just the axle or brackets and everything? the king pin D60s go for a $1000 plus around here and need a full rebuild. the '05 and up stuff is usually pretty close to that, but tend to come in better shape and with more components.

    Alternator question

My brothers truck did the same thing. It ended up being a diode on the back of the alternator letting the power go both ways. It was a 302 so not sure how different the alternators are though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The NIGHTMARE TRIP! Will I be asking too much of a IDI Turbo?

Something to throw out there. I didn't see it mentioned, but it might have. sorry if i missed it. Swap the axles and suspension to '05 and up superduty ones. They are easy to swap and you get more payload, better ride and best of all four wheel disc brakes. combine that with a hydroboost...
