    Initiate a return if missing parts. Make sure to take pics of the packaging. Edit: so far, rockauto has simply sent me out replacements. Didn't care to have any damaged stuff back.

    What is your indication it needs injectors? Mine needed a hpop and ipr to alleviate its hard-starting problem. You can meter out the gaskets you have. If they prove out, and don't leak, not much sense in spending the money. Conversely, a bad gasket could cause injectors or GP's to not work.

    Without a pyrometer for reference, you're just dialing back fuel (and power) blindly with the allen screw. My buddy cranked his pump up 2-3 flats ('90 non turbo) and ran it like that for years. Not saying it's the way to go, but it tolerated it. Is the turbo-IDI's injection pump...

    The hardest thing about the job is if the spindles are seized into the knuckles. These use the same balljoints. It's the brakes that improved for '95.

    Powerstrokes have one; so that's where his cat-back exhaust wants to bolt on. That's probably where to buck the flange off and use the 3-to-4" pipe adapter.

    I wouldn't re-vamp the y-pipe. Use a simple pipe size adapter as already suggested. 4" pipe may actually drop the raspiness somewhat. Ubolt style clamps are my least favorite method of joining exhaust.

    If parts consistency is troubling, get 2 and put the spare behind the seat. FWIW, just helped a buddy with a few front brake parts. That partsavatar, and rockauto, were half the price of local supply.

    Turns out my truck uses a piece of u-channel to space down the bearing.

    IMHO, too fussy about the driveshaft angle IMHO. The factory wasn't that perfect. Try it as-is.

    I'll vouch for the factory turbo business being difficult to re&re. BTDT. I'm in no rush to build one of these, so I had time on my side to eventually find a complete TiDi. If I hadn't found one, I wouldn't be bothering with Ford V8 diesels at all. JMHO.

    For me, the only way to build one is with the turbo pistons and (keystone) rings. That may have a domino-effect of needing the rods and crank also.

    I'm not sure what you carry for payload, but I want that whole deck space free of obstacles. For that same reason, I have the fuel filler outside the deck, in the corner on the driver side.
