Not sure really, my gauge is either full or 1/4 tank. I must fill up at 400 miles because at 410 it's out of fuel and gotta crack the injector lines open, fill the filter and recharge batteries a couple times to get it going. I have not switched over to the electric pump setup as the cost for...
It's been a week or so, original radiator is beyond economic repair, new core out the door, as little over $700. I found an aluminum 3 core on Amazon, it came today 10 earlier than the projected time. It was packaged in honey comb, and no noticeable damage, the welds appear to be top notch. I am...

I read your radiator adventure. The 3 core seems to be what I should do after reading through the whole blog. A friend hooked me up with an old radiator guy today and he told me 120 dollars he will do the job. I am going to try that Avenue first!

I see the situations you all have concerning radiators. I found the original radiator in my 88 F250 to be a 300 dollars to be gone through, I simply cannot afford it. So I see the comments concerning Champion Radiators, the 4 core i have found to be reasonable in price though I am still reading...
Okay, finally started installing of parts, looked in the fill hole of radiator and didn't like the looks, ran a scope in the radiator!! All clogged up, no leak Mark's notes, brought it to a radiator shop, am disgusted with a near 300 dollar repair. Any recommendations for new radiator?

This is the closest threat I can find concerning the problem i have. I have a 88 f250 custom 7.3 idi with manual tranny, it is a 2 wheel drive. Now to the problem. I was doing in town driving, 40Mph at most. I was towing a 18 ft trailer helping a friend move. During a stop to get some drinks I...
I found a 2008 F350 4X4 for a very good price though it does not have a bed. The truck has a rear fuel tank and all the beds I can find indicate with the location of the filler, that in should be a forward fuel tank. my question is, can I relocate the rear tank to the front and purchase the...
Most coin washes will not allow engine cleaning unless there is an , oil, water separator system. Just go late at night with a pocket full of quarters and a few cans of foam degreaser!! LMAO
So I read about the Autolite Glow Plugs being AFU, I got these champion ones, I hope these are note like the problems with the Autolite brand, what say you all?
All 8 of my copper washers was stuck on the bores, it took a long time to get 2 of them out with a screwdriver, so I went to a hardware store and bought a 5 inch lag bolt 5/16 thread. I screwed it into each washer 2 or 3 threads and wth a little help from a flat pry bar and a Chuck of wood, I...

Homemade slide hammer/idi, injector puller. Worked great, it took 5 times, but it came out with the nozzle still attached!. Now to fish the copper seals out and clean bores.
