Very sluggish at first 13 VDC, crank for longer than usual maybe 30 seconds, after about 10 seconds the starter sped up but nowhere near "normal" speed, still no start.     I agree, borrowed 2 Yellow top Optima Batts from work. Gave a bit more umf, but but not enough to start. Lifetime warranty Starter, just a friggin pain in the A$$

    Fuel pressure running between 6 and 7lb a few week prior, cannot check now as there is not enough juice to get the truck to start, I di replace the mechanical fuel pump a few months back.

    Drove from work, about 30 minutes or so. when I started it at work it was a sluggish start and had to use ether . This has been acting up for a week or so. Batteries had 12.4 VDC after stall.

    I am actually thinking of installing the E8012S as a primer pump between the Mechanical lift pump and fuel filter and was thinking of wiring it to the glow plug solenoid. what do you all think? Is there a thread elsewhere with more detailed information?

    That is actually what I was thinking. During the repair of the truck, I did find the Engine Coolant Temp/Temperature Thermostatic Switch electrical connection blades to be crushed, and actually got one in the mail today! Don't know if that could affect this gripe electrically, but who knows.
