My opinion is to not use a manual GP switch... healthy relay and glow plugs works great. With a manual system you really can't tell when you lose a GP... the WTS cycle time will tell you right away that something is up. Many here like the manual system but I don't; do you think my wife will be...
J30R7 hose will work; here is a link for a Parker product http://www.safehose.com/ParkerProducts.asp?catID=576. The clamp you have is very nice but overkill. No pressure on the return system so you might want to use a spring type clamp.
Viton o-ring 111 for the caps. Grease'm up when you...
Sensor is located on the IP gear cover - partially covered by the vacuum pump. Easy job to swap it out, you don't have to remove the vacuum pump to change it.
If you have an automatic it will be the E4OD

That is from the center of the front bushing (which is the center of the rad support) to the center of the first mount at the front of the door.
Thanks for posting that kit. When mine went it was the solenoid... I was unable to find a replacement, what are you doing about yours? I didn't have much time so I had to buy a rebuilt (it was $500+ from Napa in Canada with 3 day delivery, $130 from advanced auto in the states and was in...
Easy to have the pump pull from both at the same time but your return line will only be going to one. If you had a way of joining both tanks (near the bottom) then they would maintain the same level all the time. I would not want to but a hole at the bottom of the tank though.
What 79jasper...
When removing the fan it is reverse thread. Don't drop it into the rad or you will be replacing it also!
When putting the fan back on it is still reverse thread:rolleyes:, put a little locktite on it (blue) so it does not come off! Don't drop it into the rad or you will be replacing it also...
 I guess I was confused... figured you were doing the conversion and since the title was 'tie rods and ball joints' I thought my post was relevant :bail LOL
F250. D50 to a D60. Same truck though.
My comment was to provide part numbers, etc that might help with the conversion, not to debate the availability of a TTB.
I run 15w40 in all my crap... tractor, mercruiser (4.3 motor), rototiller, push mower, lawn tractor, reel mower, and four wheeler (Rotella T has JASO rating for wet clutch). Only thing that does not run it is my wifes newer Caravan (specs 5W20 IIRC). For winter I use synthetic rotella 10w30 in...

So you are plugging the return line (from the engine fuel system) into the intake side of the pump? Interesting set up but some thoughts:
1. By having the return line connected to the pump intake wouldn't you be introducing air into the intake side of the pump? This might explain your...
