The low pressure switch has an adjustment screw between the 2 male connectors. Adjust it counter clockwise to lower the cut out pressure. R134a should cut out @ 20 psi
In theroy a straight weight oil should stay in grade better than a multi viscosity oil. IIdont think falling out of grade is a problem at all. Are there any cj4 straight weight oils? I can't find any.
Wpp is warren oil company. They are huge! They make most house brands,STP,supertech etc. They make very good stuff without the big name advertising so they can sell it cheaper. IMO their oils are every bit as good as the familiar name brands.

Many here have had concerns about the new ck-4 oils. Ford says not to use them in a ford truck with a diesel.
I was at vatozone tonight and they had 2 oils that pass the WSS-M2C171-F1 spec. The expensive motorcraft oil and the wpp made STP oil. So those 2 oils are OK to use in our trucks if...
You definatly want to pack the bearings with grease. It may take several miles for the oil to work its way out to the bearings. After a good longvtest drive check and fill the diff.
I ran the super tech oil in my old peterbilt. It's a very stout oil.especially for the price. I sent in samples the add pack is very similiar to Delvac. Use it with confidence.
Whoever said that lowered zddp had an effect on oil life such as losing viscosity faster had no clue. Zddp is mainly to protect flat tappit cams. We have roller lifters. In an extreeme application zddp helps with rocker life too. But we don't have stiff valvesprings either.

I found some valvoline that meets Ford spec xxxxx.look for the Ford spec on the bottle. Iirc the 15w40 is not affected by the additive rules. Only 30 and down.
Napa and autozone sell the same water pump. Different box is all. Napa's rebuilt started and alternators are pure junk now. No shops will use them as they are a guaranteed comeback.
The slow moving parts like our water pumps will be made in China regardless of where you buy it. Not enough volume for a company here to make them. The motorcraft one from the dealer will likely be the same garbage the auto parts stores carry.
Why would a shorter line effect the timing? If that line is 2 inches long or 2 miles as long as its full of a non compressible liquid a 1/4 inch movement on one end will cause a 1/4 inch movement on the other end
Doesn't the heat just make the water mix with the fuel and get pumped through your injectors and injection pump? I'm running a spin on water trap filter. Never seen any water cone out when I drain it.
I drove a customers truck that acted like that. It had a few new injectors and a few old ones. I'm guessing that the injectors we're popping all over the place.
