Just wondering if the only difference is the pump and possibly the injectors or is there more like a different cam .
Is the basic engine exactly the same between 158 and 175 hp?
I think it mostly has to do with the compression. We All know that an engine with low compression is harder to start.
This one has never been overheated,no blow by and only 127k miles. It won't pull a wet noodle off a plate though.
My f250 has the high elevation 158 hp engine.i realize that these trucks are slow but mines pathetic. I can't run the 55 mph speed limit when pulling a small flatbed trailer.
Is the only difference between the HP ratings the pump output or is there more to it?
That's for assembly. The system comes to the assembly line charged and ready to go. When a worker installs the system then screws that fitting together it completes the circuit and the ac system is ready to go. Saves time vs charging a system after the truck is built.
Went to the feed store and the gas station. On the way home my tilt steering came loose and practically fell into my lap.
I pulled the steering wheel off and can't see the problem. I you tubed it and only found videos on how to adjust the steering box. Nothing with my problem.
I got home and...
Just wanted to share this. It's for a 15L caterpillar diesel. Napa gold made by wix in USA. Only about 3/4 of a thread to hold it onto the engine.
Napa brought out a replacement for it and it had the correct threads. Imagine if I had put that on without noticing! Thing would have blown off on...
Where are you at? I specialize in auto ac. First thing is to check the orifice tube for contamination then pressure test the system and look for leaks.
