So...based on this tag in the photo....
I called IFS in Ohio...they say sept 12 of 2000 was build date of IP...
This came off Kelsters seized 7.3 IDIT here as a core for the engine I sold him....
Now the ? Is it worth swapping...know one knows..so I will witness mark my current IP amd...
That is one hella deal for whom ever jumps on it!!!
Like I am in a rush? Guess need an aftermarket 3" PS dp now to mod to fit that elbow...
Again...hella deal...but not for me have these parts in stock already
It is a noise suppressor to filter out AC signal from the power line to a stereo head unit or amp or an aftermarket 2 way radio.
I will see if I can locate the one in stock here for an example.
JM13.5VDCCW Eh!
You can do it two ways....swap two axles....keep it 2wd...then add trans n tcase and respective drive shafts later..or
Acrue all parts...just remember you will need either a 4wd E4OD and tcase or locate a divorced np 205 transfer case....and do it all at once...
06 F350 SD axles may be a good way to go....coil sprung front end disc brakes....
I would do that....myzelf add a OBS hydroboost for brakes....then when you can locate a 4wd trams and tcase...u can keep truck 2wd w solid axle...build as $$$ permits...
JM7.3CW Eh!
Damn ADD Sets in...go running outside and pull a remanned IP on a factory turbo engine...give it a good rinse in aolvent tank..and guess tomorrow I will swap it on and see if starting imlroves any... LOL LOL as if....but hot start may be fixed.....who knows...
Will report back after weekend as...
Lil follow up....pass side fitted... so into blast cabinet it went... LOL
here is the first round...must blast inner side of panel more and prep for primer.....this gets rid off rust something fine...
Here is final size and prepped hole in cab...
Treat w rust mort prime n weld in panel...
Flipped over to this truck today....lol
Started patchin inner rust on pass side amd getting outter panel near finish shape/size.
So the inner panel first...not fond of flux core but wtf...it works....LOL
Here the outter panel is near perfect...time to leave well enough alone and call it...
No I have not done as many the 2 -4 wd swaps...but cab swaps and body swaps are not that hard even for those without farm equipmsnt...camper jacks are awesome to lift bodies...heck floor jacks and pallets work...roll chassis out...roll chassis in drop n go...
Suppose depends on what 1 is more...
Based on your description in my thread a turbo should be fine.
A leak down amd compression test would be ideal first of course....
Just keep expenses down...by turbo kit have russ rebuild it and add a banks dp...that will be great for your current setup IMHO.
WHEN U GET INTO STUDDING and...
Let me get this straight...u have 2wd w good body n 4wd w crap body...
Pull body off 4x...scrap it out keeping what u need..in other words everything for duration of project...
Swap good body ONTO 4x.....myself I would do that before chassis and driveline swap.....you get time clean paint...
