Based off the rock auto photo those look like they replace the rear end sway bar bushings and rod
but it’s confusing because you say it connects to the I beam which would mean the front sway bar
but I have a hunch you might be talking about the radius arm bushings?

All I did was take of the u-joint that attaches to the steering column, (firewall side) then cut off about 6.5 inches , deburred it and put it back on
And tighten her down German tight
Swapped out the worn steering rod and put in a aftermarket one took out more than half the play in my steering wheel
I did have to modify the replacement to make it fit thankfully it telescopes just like the OEM one and it has a built in damper

Your alternator isn’t charging your batteries based off the location of the needle on your stock gauge, should be by the M or A part of normal
Check your connections at the back of your alternator , check how many volts your battery has when your truck is off and on . Should be...
Got a motorcraft thermostat,
and got a updated transmission switch so no more trans issues
