    As embarrassing as this is for me to say... I honestly don't know. I had the local garage flush it out last time because as usual, my schedule wouldn't allow me to do it myself. I'll have to ask him what he put in it. And about 3 weeks after that is when I installed the power programmer...

    wow, i havent had nearly that much trouble with mine. i bought this truck with 88,000 miles on it.. ive got it up to around 120,000 now. When I bought it (private sale), i knew the starter was bad, so I inherited that problem. Other than that, the only problem I've had is the wheel bearings...

    Thanks man... at least I have a little insight on what I'm lookin' at. My power programmer doubles as a dignostics tester, so I'm going to plug it in sometime soon and see what it says. In the meantime, I was just making sure that nobody thought this was a mechanical failure of some sort...

    My converter does this, everyonce in awhile I'll get an occasional shudder from the tranny... especially when I have a load behind it. While we're on the subject, is there any way to correct this? Or is a lower stall converter the only way to get around it?
