I swapped it for a new Napa one and it’s working, for now. I did a good long test drive today with the deep pan and rapid cooler upgrades. I took it up long grades at freeway speeds and up some really steep grades going slow on residential streets as well. It never got hot. It stays pretty cool...
Yeah it got really hot once and did that. I just noticed that the 2nd fan clutch I just bought spins about 4-5 times when I shut off the engine. So frustrating. No more Napa brand fan clutch for me. Sad
My back tank is so bad anything more than minimum pressure to make a tiny little trickle and it pops the handle. Full tank = standing with your hand barely on the trigger for 20-30 minutes. I’m not using it at all except for low fuel situations on the front tank. I end up searching around for #2...
My c6 has the 4th gear added. Haha yeah I bet y’all were like 75 mph!?!? I wasn’t thinking about that earlier when we were talking about the differential gear ratio. First one I’ve had with the OD unit. Does anybody know how that shift point is adjusted? Everything else shifts at around 2k with...

I drive in the slow lane usually I’m running an overdrive unit so it’ll do 75 easy if i want to burn a ton of fuel. Doesn’t get it hot though unless you get on a steep grade. On hills it doesn’t matter if you’re going fast or 10 mph, it just heats up quickly.
