UPDATE!!!!!! Thanks to all for your help and suggestions. Took them and started from scratch. Replaced filter again(just in case), cleaned fuel screen in sump/heater, primed and after quite a few tries it fired, semms to run fine now, other than it's a little hard to start. Based on one...

    23 MPG Highway towin' trailer

OK, It may not be as good as I thought. Yesterday I was working in an area where the local law had set up one of those speed boxes (you know that tell you how fast your going) I had to pass this thing several times durring the course of the day and I noticed that my speedo is reading 3-4 MPH...

    Mercedes Diesel Not Clean Enough

I may have this wrong but somewhere I read or heard that the tests won't allow BD. Here in Vermont VW dealers won't even sell diesel versions of their cars due to the fact that they won't 'pass' BD is not an issue, because one could, if one wanted to use pump diesel in ones car instead of BD and...

    23 MPG Highway towin' trailer

Just wanted to post this FYI. Probably most of you that own a truck like this(94 Dodge 12v Cummins, 4X4, 5 speed stock) aren't surprized, but I was, and pleasently I might add. Just finished up a 600 mile trip, most was highway driving and the calculated amount was towin' a small/medium...

    Fuel spewing everywhere

Guess I'll have to check into the fuel line kit. This one was all steel, walls of line still seem to be pretty thick (approx .025 - .030) and there is mot much rust. Must have been metal fatuge from vibration that caused it to break, cause it didn't look like corrosion. I thought about cutting...

Screwy fuel gauge on 94 Ram 2500

Yep, that's my plan for that problem fo now. Allready did a milage check. Most of my driving is around town so I clock it for just that 257 miles have to work to squeeze 13 gallons in the tank. Looks like the better part of 20MPH to me. The guy I work with sometimes, has a Chebby...

    Fuel spewing everywhere

Rubberfish, Well I couldn't do it with hose and clamp, piece on pump end to short. I was able to heat that up and remove the old stub, clean up the line and rebrazed it. Had a little issue with priming the system and restarting but all is OK now. Thanks again for your help.
