wont start wierd clicking noise HELP
check for a loose connection where the hot wire connects to the starter, if connecton good try connecting a jumper cable from positive battery post to the + connection on starter to see if the starter + cable is bad. the relay you jumped was the one on the fender and not the glowplug relay on...- Tripp16

late 99 sd 7.3l battery cable lengths
my cables are getting bad, I want to have some new ones made up from 3/0 cable but need the lengths. Hoping someone might know the measurements because atm I have a cast on my arm and cannot measure the ones on my truck. My truck has the single cable connecting both positve battery posts...- Tripp16

Shocking Experience
BJS, I remember seeing those ground straps on cars when I was about 4-5 years old. (about 35 years ago) I remember asking my dad what they were and him explaining them.- Tripp16
