    Another lift pump lets me down.

    My lift pump recently failed. I put in a Carter which seems to be doing ok. I was able to purchase an actual Ford pump as well from https://parts.lakelandford.com/testimonials.aspx If the Carter gives trouble, I have the Ford on standby.

    I purchased a "turn key" 7.3 IDI from one of the big name remanufactures mentioned in this thread. I have put 14,000 on that engine since installment. A few issues that have occured...the thermostat stuck closed at approximately 7,000 miles...idler pulley bearing went out around 10,000 miles...

    Well, the Carter pump is installed. Truck appears to be running great.... however the pressure is lower than desired. I am going to try and troubleshoot/correct a few items tomorrow.....bends in fuel line...ect...and see if the pressure does not rise. I am just hoping the cam lobe is not too...

    All, I am looking for a little advice. I was changing the oil today on my 93 F350, and noticed the front axle stub was broke as shown in pic. Can anyone advise on if the 93 came with 30 or 35 spline outers? Also, how dangerous is this to drive?
