New IPR now no worse off.
Well since I cant read the OBD port I will buy a rebuild kit and rebuild my injectors. In the mean time I will buy a cheap $6000 truck to get by.- slyhog022056

Now that you mention it when i replaced the valve cover gasket and pigtails on the drivers side i had 1 injector that wasnt squirting oil back into the head but after it warmed up it would squirt more than the rest. I just cant understand why it would run and idle fine but as soon as i get 3...- slyhog022056

Well before i replaced the head gaskets and pigtails cylinder 6 was about 80 degrees colder than the rest, that went away but after it started running bad again I only saw 30 degrees at the most between cylinders. i need my truck, yes but i cant keep dumping money into it. Sorry for the late reply, life got in the way. It had been running fine for years, went to drive it to Ft Worth TX 40 miles away, about 2/3 of the way there it suddenly just started slowing down and within 2 miles it was at 10 mph in 2nd gear floored. let it set for and hour then made it another...- slyhog022056

1997 F 250HD 7.3 powerstroke, Just changed out my IPR and couldnt get it to start, well after trying for a while but now the misfire is worse than before. Very limited throttle response. Regulator has not been rebuilt to my knowledge, and which screen?? Well I have been smelling fuel for a few days before this happened but could not find a leak and my rear tank has had just 4 gallons in it for 5 years and is capped but the fuel gauge still reads about 1/8 tank. I have a 97 ford 7.3 duL tanks problem. A couple of weeks ago my 97 appeared to run out of fuel. Since them I have added 7 gallons diesel into front tank. Fuel selector switch appears to be working. Filter cover off and cranking appears to be getting fuel / air but wont fill the filter housing...- slyhog022056

E fuel pump hose splicing
I am trying to put an electric fuel pump on my 97 psd 7.3, crawled under it to have a look at the lines coming out of the selector valve. Someone stated the feed is 3/8 and the return is 5/16, however my lines are 5/16 on both feed and return from the electric selector valve up to the manual...- slyhog022056

This last weekend my 91 F250, 7.3 ran out of fuel while parked on side to side incline, Showed 1/4 tank, but I assumed it uncovered the pickup line. Experimental repair for 1980-86 dash
I did mine in my previous truck but I removed mine, stripped everything off of it and fiberglassed mine with fiberlass mat, 4 layers on the underside and 2 on top. lot of work but it did come out pretty good for me. the other advantage to the fiberglass was being able to imbed a piece of 1/4...- slyhog022056
