The machine shops here cant pressure test... The engine with the gasket failure likely has lower miles, I swapped the 2wd engine roughly a year ago

I am contemplating another idea....
1988 ford f250 2wd runs and drives...
1989 f250 4wd... Head gasket seeps on passenger bank, right behind t-stat housing... For sure head gasket... Confirmed....
Anyway... It may be less work to just do the head gaskets... Then I wouldn't have an engineless...
My thoughts are...
1. You are injecting via the intake valve, rather than initiating combustion in the pre-chamber
2. Ether has less energy per mass than diesel.... Its not like your running straight ether... Its diluted some with diesel...the ether just combusts which combustes the diesel...
I always just turn key on... Wait..... Light goes off.... Wait longer, 2 mins maybe give her some bill Cosby in a can... And send her all the way.

If you need assistance in performing this diagnostic operation, I'm here to help. I just dont want to see you shell out coins for something that wont fix it... Not saying your batteries are good, or bad, but there are ways to diagnose the situation without your credit card.

Before condemning the batteries, I would check for a parasitic drain. You will need a multimeter able to accurately read the drain. Simply feeling if the alternator is warm, or looking for size of sparks is not accurate. A parasitic drain is considered a problem at or above 50 milliamps or 0.050...
Hey everyone
I will most likely be swapping engines from an 88 f250 2wd to an almost cherry 89 f250 4wd.. Only real reason is because 4wd season is fast approaching. The 4wd has an external head gasket leak, but otherwise runs good. Ill try to post pictures if I can figure it out. Been lurking...
