Aluminum radiator upgrade
Just remember to check the radiator cap of the the new radiator. Mine was overheating like hell til realized the new cap was 18 pounds and mine ran a 12 pound!- Paul Petraitis

A word about dieselkleen
As a side note, Mexico has or use to have the best high sulfer diesel fuel around. When I use to take my 6.9 there in the early 2000 and fuelup my truck never ran so good! Just mentioning that cause your name is Mexican Joe.- Paul Petraitis

Mechanical V. Electric Fuel Pump
I have both. Keep the electric on a manual switch,if you feel the truck is sluggish just hit the switch and ifmthings smooth out you know you have a fuel issue arising. Also great for priming filters and a back up for the mechanical.- Paul Petraitis

6.9 idi problems
Replaced my 86 f250 6.9 with alum rad and it'sbeen overheating. replaced everything from clutch fan to thermastate still hot. Finally looked at rad capthat came with new rad and it was 19 pounds! Put a 13 pound in and it'smuch better but still heats upclimbing a hill hauling a trailer. Only...- Paul Petraitis
