F350 front driveline questions.
Do you work on T-cases? How can you tell it's a 1330f yoke (whatever that means)? I have the other one on another TCase. Is it OK to use impact to remove/install yoke, or can you damage gears inside? Is there special impact socket to do this. All mine are two fat to fit in the yoke without...- onetonjohn

Trouble finding fuel sender for early 90's E-350.
Check gas tank depot. I heard early 80-86 senders were hard to find, but they had them.- onetonjohn

80-91 stripped steering wheel nut threads options
If you have tilt without slop, I might fix it. The aluminum in housing gets wallowed out and you get slop in the wheel. Presumably they get wallard out from yarding on the wheel pulling ourselves into the truck. Likely ones from the wrecker will have slop.- onetonjohn

It's 1 and 1/8 cap the one with double cardin is 1 and 1/16. Probably cand see the difference.- onetonjohn

F350 front driveline questions.
Do all F350s with Dana 60 high pinion kinpin front axle have double cardone front drivelines, or can we use single cardon driveline? I'm asking for F350 with stock height (which I think is 3" blocks)? Curious as I'm running into some issues with front yoke of the BW 4407 in my swap. Driveline...- onetonjohn

Fuel issues?
What would it mean if it fired right up and then died? My brown truck started doing this when starting from front tank.- onetonjohn

Knocking after injector change
Hmmm. You can't Crack the injectors while you're moving g. If you increase rpms while not moving g do you hear the knock? If not maybe your newfound power broke something loose like a carrier bearing or something.- onetonjohn

Knocking after injector change
Check the oil and make sure you dont have fuel in there or anything wierd going on. I found an issue by feeling all the injector lines while it was running. One of them was pulsing/ vibrating. Turned out the line was bad. Also heard people say to Crack the injector line on at a time and see...- onetonjohn

Got some time to work on the truck and get driveline to the driveline shop. Got measurements for driveline so shop will start on then next week. New senders came and went in last week. Resistance looks good but gages still read read empty. Going to fill it up and see if they move. They only...- onetonjohn

Gear indicator fix? (automatic tranny)
Great to know I can replace it. I got a broken cable on a cluster I'd like to use. Cable snapped in half. Or the guy wo got the column and spedo(with tach) broke it. Add it to the list of projects I don't have time for.- onetonjohn

Contacted drive line shop and got them measurements they will need for the new drivelines (I did a BW 4407 transfer case swap). Gonna be out of town till Friday, so I'll need a pass for a couple days ;). Those BW4407s are super stout, so I'm hoping it will outlast the rest of the drive train...- onetonjohn
