    Take one of your "toasted" ones and stick a short piece of a paper clip into the sensor where the wire goes in, strip the plastic off the wire and untwist the strands, then wrap the strands back around the piece of p-clip. Solder or heat shrink the connection. :dunno OkieGringo

    I haven't been to the "Easter Jeep Safari" since 1990. The "Lions Back" was awesome. I did all the 4+ trails and a few 3s. I even tried the "Sand Hill Climb", that is absolutely the softest/finest sand that I've ever seen. I've heard that the "tree-huggers" have gotten most of the good trails...

    To check the connections to the IP, here's what you need to do. Turn on key to 'run' position. Check the main wire that comes from the loom to the IP (injection pump), does it have juice. The wire runs to the FSS (fuel shutoff switch) connector first, then to one side of the Cold Engine...

    The leaking IP could be due to a bad rubber gasket behind the 'fuel screw turn-up port(triangualr plate)'. I'd hate to see ya spend big bucks on an IP for a bad gasket. cookoo OkieGringo

    Alt Belt Idler Pulley See the link in my "Signature" for photo. Autozone part # 45954 and get a bolt 3/8"-16 x 1-1/2" hex flanged cap screw. The pulley cannot be larger than 4" OD. Just remove the bolt from water pump and replace it with a 3/8"-16 x 1-1/2" bolt. Find a bolt with threads all...

    E4ODOA!!!

    A/C fire might have fried the FIPL or wires to it. Try replacing it first. check the Wires on the Tach sensor also and the TECLA relay. Good luck, OkieGringo
