    They tapped it into the wastegate line. Yes it would work, but yeah, ugly. I put mine on the port you highlighted blue. Sounds like your gauge is a dud

    Its better than the aftermarket one I put on my dads crew cab... It gets stuck at 3/4 throttle until you stomp on it. And it is intermittent.

    It is a very common upgrade. I did it to my truck, and plan to do it to my old mans truck when I dive into the wiring. Results were brighter lights since they didn't have to go through any burnt connectors at the headlight switch.

    Your return spring location is in the correct spot. I wonder if the clip is expanded at all... Does it only fall off when using cruise, or normal throttle on hills as well, like wide open throttle?

    Champion 3 core. They were out of stock of the 4 core at the time. Putting the foam around the shroud made a significant difference.

    I have their turbo and intercooler kit, the reason for the move is because the air filter ends up where the overflow and washer bottle goes.

    I run the CDD one, and it expands the full volume of it, so when cold there's maybe a 1/4" of fluid at the bottom. I made little L brackets and bolted it to the fan shroud on the drivers side. I can take a picture of it this evening if you like. I've had it on there for a few years now.

    If you get a psi gauge that you can clip onto the Schrader you can measure lift pump pressure. At idle you want about 4psi, and about 5-6 at wide open throttle. This is what I use for diagnosing. The Schrader measures post filter, if I remember right.

    Entirely possible. Fill er up with fresh diesel and some sort of biocide, replace the filter again and go drive er some more. Fuel filter light means theres a vacuum detected at the filter, which means its getting clogged up.

I prefer local for parts like these, only because I've had new in box drums with hot spots in them and had to warranty them out within a day, having my truck down because of something lucrative like brakes isn't fun. I typically go for power stops or just whatever flavor that Napa...
